Silver Swans Ballet

Service Description

Specifically for the 60+ age group, the Royal Academy of Dance developed the Silver Swans programme based on research into dance practice for older learners, and classes are only taught by trained licensees. Classes follow the normal format of barre and centre exercises, with an emphasis on balance and coordination, and a reduced focus on high impact steps such as jumps. Some previous dance experience is a bonus but everyone is welcome to try, and as the pace of the class is a little gentler, there's plenty of time to get to grips with the basics.
