Seen in competitions such as "The Greatest Dancer", Contemporary dance can portray dramatic and emotive content and contains impressive leaps, spins, lifts and tricks.

At Horsham School of Dance we offer three levels of Contemporary classes - an introductory level, incorporating Jazz dance for ages eight to twelve, an Intermediate level and a senior level.

As an athletic and creative dance form, Contemporary can be a good choice for boys wanting to get into dance, something we love to encourage at HSD!

Contemporary dance is also a good option for those wishing to study dance as a GCSE, BTEC or A - level subject.
